<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid various kinds of problems caused by contact between a tape 31 and a flange of a reel 22 while ensuring regular winding of the tape 31 to the reel 22. <P>SOLUTION: A tape drive 2 includes: a loading section 21 to which a tape cartridge 3 accommodating a single reel 33 is detachably loaded; a drive-side reel 22 around which a tape 31 drawn from the tape cartridge 3 is wound; and a head 25 disposed on a running path of the tape 31. The drive-side reel 22 is a flangeless reel having a hub around which the tape 31 is wound, and the tape drive 2 regulates a position of the tape 31 in the width direction and further includes first regular winding mechanisms 41 and 42 that abut on a winding outer peripheral surface of the tape 31 to start winding the unwound portion of the tape 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
