<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust playback sound volume changed by a difference in operating state. <P>SOLUTION: A personal computer having a speaker 18 has: a line-in terminal 19 for receiving a sound signal from an external apparatus; a speaker amplifier 54 for amplifying the sound signal input from the line-in terminal 19 to output sound from the speaker 18; a power source circuit 46 for supplying power to the speaker amplifier 54; and an EC/KBC 45 for controlling power to be supplied from the power source circuit 46 and controlling the power source circuit 46 to continuously supply power to the speaker amplifier 54 if the external terminal is connected to the line-in terminal 19 when the personal computer enters non-operating state (standby state) or powered on state from the non-operating state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
