<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing a discharge port member having a high discharge performance using an electroforming method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the discharge port member includes processes for (1) preparing a conductive base body 1408 on which a first insulating mask 1409' and a second insulating mask 1410' for forming a discharge port are laminated in this order, (2) using the first mask 1409' and the second mask 1410' as a mask to perform plating so that the height of a first plated layer 1413 is within a predetermined range, (3) eliminating the second mask 1410', (4) using the first mask 1409' as a mask to plate the base body 1408, thereby forming a second plated layer 1413' to cover the first plated layer 1413, and (5) eliminating the base body 1408 and the first mask 1409' to form the discharge port member 1405. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
