PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an automatic screwing machine having a screw floating detection device with a simple configuration enabling determination as to whether or not a head seat surface of a screw is securely seated to a workpiece, a part or the like during screwing. SOLUTION: A driver bit 20 rotatable and movable in an axial direction is arranged in a suction pipe 34 for sucking and holding the screw 1. A stopper 23 that comes into contact with a head top face when an engagement part is engaged with a drive hole is formed between a shaft and the engagement part that constitute the driver bit 20. A gap is arranged between the bottom of the drive hole and the tip of the engagement part that are engaged with each other. The automatic screwing machine detects the movement displacement amount of the driver bit 20 in an axial direction to the suction pipe 34 by a sensor means and has the screw floating detection device that determines presence or absence of a screw floating state, so that whether or not the head seat surface is seated is exactly determined. The stopper comes into contact with the head top face, so that it is not affected even when the drive hole is deformed during manufacturing the screw. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
