PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate production of a door with a molding material recessed from the surface of the door, while reducing the cost. SOLUTION: On at least one door panel 1 of front and rear door panels 1, 2, a freely-extractable portion 6 defined by cutoff lines 5a, 5b is provided. The front and rear door panels 1, 2 are bonded to a core material 3 having a recessed portion 8 opposing to the freely-extractable portion 6. The freely-extractable portion 6 of the door panel 1 is then taken out to form a cutout portion 7, and the molding material 4 is fitted into and fixed to the recessed portion 8 through the cutout portion 7.
