PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove isolated noises within a short time. SOLUTION: The method of removing noises of 3D volume data includes (1) a step to arrange a 2D figure on a tomographic image composing the 3D volume data, (2) a step to extract data values in a region surrounded by the 2D figure and determine whether these data values are the same as those located at the profile of this 2D figure, (3) a step to determine the presence of noises by deciding whether the extracted data values differ from the data values located at the profile of the 2D figure, (4) a step to agree the different data values in the region to the data values located at the profile, when the presence of noises is determined in the step (3), and (5) a step to repeat the steps (2) to (4) while moving the 2D figure arranged in the step (1) around within the 3D volume data.
