PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic tag pasting device for pasting an IC tag in the predetermined position without reducing production efficiency during bookbinding of a saddle stitched book. SOLUTION: A plurality of quires and covers of the saddle stitched book are collated on the transport route 2 and thereafter are conveyed into an IC tag pasting device 14 on the midway of the same transport route 2. The IC tag pasting device 14 provides an IC tag 38 fed from the reel 28 onto the absorption drum 44, and cut it into one-piece lengths and conveys them through the absorption drum 44. During the conveyance, an adhesive coating unit 46 applies adhesive onto the IC tag 38, and furthermore, when a booklet 4 reaches the upper position of the absorption drum 44, the IC tag 38 is conveyed to the position in time.
