The method involves measuring telemetrically the maximum temperature of person's face, in order to determine the body temperature of person. The determination result is output in real time in computer display with audio signals. Temperature is measured using infrared radiation and in response to the the detected maximum temperature, the computer controls a red and green optical warnings and warning or harmonic audible warnings to indicate to service personnel a critical (fever or suspected fever) or uncritical (no fever) in the person. An independent claim is included for device for determination of body temperature of person.
