PURPOSE: An organic luminescent compound is provided to ensure excellent hole injection and/or transport ability, and electron transport ability and/or light-emitting capability and to obtain an organic electroluminescence device with good luminous efficiency, brightness, driving voltage, and life span. CONSTITUTION: An organic electroluminescence device includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a monolayered or multilayered organic layer interposed between the positive and negative electrodes. At least one of the organic layers comprises the compound of chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, X is N, S or O; and A is substituted or unsubstituted monocyclic or fused polycyclic heterocycle having 6-40 nucleus atoms, when at least one X-containing ring is an aromatic ring having 6-8 nucleus atoms.
