PURPOSE: An organic compound is provided to ensure fluorescence and phosphoresce characteristics and excellent thermal stability, and to secure low power, high efficiency, high brightness, durability and lifetime. CONSTITUTION: An organic compound is represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, X is selected from the group consisting of CR13R14, NR15, O, S, S(=O), S(=O)2 and SiR16R17; and R1-R17 are independently -[L]n-[Q]m. An organic electroluminescence device includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an organic layer interposed between the positive and negative electrodes. At least one of the organic layer comprises the organic compound.
