<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose film and a method for manufacturing the cellulose film. <P>SOLUTION: The cellulose film suitably used as a polarizing plate protective film of a liquid crystal display device, and a method for manufacturing the cellulose film, are disclosed. The cellulose film includes a front face layer, an internal layer and a back face layer. The front face layer contains a non-phosphate ester plasticizer, and the back face layer contains a non-phosphate ester plasticizer and fine particles. The internal layer contains a plasticizer and an ultraviolet absorber. The front face layer further contains fine particles, and the plasticizer in the internal layer is of two or more kinds.
