摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide calibration source and methods for calibrating a nuclear medicine imaging system. <P>SOLUTION: A calibration line 20 is used for calibrating energy of a radiation detector that is used for the nuclear medicine (NM) imaging system. The calibration line 20 arranges an isotopic beam source 22 that emits radiation with at least one energy peak and a fluorescence layer 24 where fluorescence X-rays can be generated by X-rays emitted from the isotopic beam source 22. The fluorescence X-rays creates at least one additional energy peak in the energy spectrum to be calibrated, thereby achieving energy calibration by multiple energy peaks. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
