<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide gel high in swelling rate in water or the like, while retaining high strength, and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: This gel includes a solvent in an interpenetrating network structure composed of a first network structure (A) formed by polymerizing a first monomer (a) and crosslinking the resulted polymer; and a second network structure (B) formed in the first network structure (A) by introducing a second monomer (b) into the first network structure (A), and polymerizing the second monomer (b) and crosslinking the resulted polymer; where the first monomer (a) contains an anionic unsaturated monomer (a1), and the second monomer (b) contains 2-acrylamide-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid (AMPS) in an amount of 0.1 mass% or more in 100 mass% of the second monomer (b). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
