PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development, which is excellent in low-temperature fixability, blocking resistance and releasability and retains durability even after allowed to stand in a high-temperature atmosphere for a long time. SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic charge image development contains a binder resin, a colorant, a charge control agent, a fatty acid ester compound and, optionally, a hydrocarbon compound having a melting point of 50-90°C. The fatty acid ester compound is a fatty acid ester compound of a polyhydric alcohol mixture including bi- and higher-functional polyhydric alcohols and a fatty acid, in which a content of a tetra- or lower-functional fatty acid ester compound is≤10 wt.%, a content of an octa- or higher-functional fatty acid ester compound is≥15 wt.%,≥90 wt.% of fatty acid residues have a carbon number of 20-25, and the fatty acid ester compound has a hydroxyl value of 10-20 mgKOH/g. The toner contains 1-10 pts.wt. of the fatty acid ester compound based on 100 pts.wt. of the binder resin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
