PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission which controls the rotation of a spindle easily without causing cost increase. SOLUTION: The transmission, which varies the speed of the spindle continuously, includes an input disk which is rotated by a motor of a constant rotation around a Y-axis in an XYZ rectangular coordinate, a transmission portion made up of a transmission member which rotates around the Y-axis and whose outer circumference is arranged in contact with the input disk, and an inclination means which inclines the transmission member around an X-axis, and an output disk which rotates around a Z-axis and is connected to the spindle and disposed in contact with the outer circumference of the transmission member. The rotation of the input disk is transmitted to the output disk by the transmission member and the rotational speed of the output disk is controlled by inclining the transmission member by the inclination means so as to control the rotation of the spindle connected to the output disk.
