PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-damping rubber composition that gives a cured rubber material having a largely improved creep resistance while retaining heat resistance, strength and low dynamic-to-static modulus ratio and a vibration-damping rubber obtained by curing the rubber composition. SOLUTION: The vibration-damping rubber composition includes natural rubber (NR) and ethylene/propylene/diene rubber (EPDM) as a rubber component in a mass ratio of NR/EPDM=70/30 to 45/55, only a peroxide as a vulcanization agent, and (X) zinc acrylate or zinc methacrylate and (Y) trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate as crosslinking agents.
