PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin component which can suppress release of fuel gas from the inside of a resin fuel tank to the outside and the resin fuel tank attached with the resin component, while suppressing an increase of cost. SOLUTION: A dense layer D to be a silica coating layer is imparted to an outer surface of a pipe joint 20 to be the resin component. By a fuel vapor transmission prevention function of the dense layer D, release of fuel vapor within the fuel tank 10 to the outside can be surely suppressed via the pipe joint 20. An atmosphere temperature during heating in a dense layer D formation process is 80 to 100°C and is lower than a softening point temperature of resin to be a molding material of the pipe joint 20. The dense layer D therefore can be formed without deforming a resin molded body 21 or partially melting the resin molded body 21 in the dense layer D formation process. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
