PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system for relaying communication by making best use of characteristics of radio communication equipment through a network. SOLUTION: The communication system includes a network as a data transmission network, a plurality of repeaters connected to the network, and a plurality of repeating transceivers connected to the plurality of repeaters, respectively. Each of the repeaters receives a voice packet input from the network and inputs it to a repeating transceiver, and also outputs a PTT signal to the repeating transceiver when the signal level of the audio packet is equal to or more than a threshold.
