The present invention relates to a method and kit for predicting a reaction to treatment with vascular endothelial growth factor-specific tyrosine kinase inhibitor (VEGF-specific TKI), in order to selectively apply a VEGF-specific TKI treatment according to the patient. When the method and kit according to the present invention for predicting a reaction to treatment with a VEGF-Specific TKI, on the basis of whether there is methylation of a vascular endothelial growth factor receptor promoter (VEGFR promoter) and an assessment thereof, a the eligibility of patient for being treated with VEGF-specific TKI can be effectively determined in a short amount of time, and thus the method and kit are expected to prevent the financial, psychological, and physical suffering of patients subjected to indiscriminate forms of treatment. |
