<p>A method for link adaptation comprises: classifying radio channels; setting a set of link adaptation modes; and selecting a corresponding link adaptation mode according to the type of the radio channel. An apparatus for link adaptation comprises: classification module for classifying radio channels; setting module for setting a set of link adaptation modes; and mode selection module for selecting a corresponding link adaptation mode from the setting module according to the type of the classified radio channel. By accordingly selecting effective link adaptation modes in accordance with different types of radio channels, realizing the throughput maximization of system in different fading channels can be ensured, and the stable and reliable link quality can be maintained.</p> |
