PURPOSE: A liquid cooling type power module for a railway vehicle is provided to reduce the entire size and weight of a power module by applying a liquid cooling type cooling method and an integral bus plate and reducing the number of required components, to reduce the manufacturing cost and to improve the convenience of a manufacturing process, and to keep the required cooling performance effectively. CONSTITUTION: A liquid cooling type power module for a railway vehicle comprises a frame(10), a cooling plate(20) fixed to the frame and provided with a coolant passage to circulate a coolant, a bus plate(30) installed to one side of the cooling plate, a semiconductor switching element(40) coupled to the cooling plate and installed between the bus plate and the cooling plate, and a gate driver(50) connected to a gate terminal of the semiconductor switching element to control the on/off operation of the semiconductor switching element.
