PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire for a vehicle is provided to decrease the fuel consumption and to reduce the manufacturing cost, and to maintain the physical properties like the existing steel belt. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire for a vehicle contains a pair of parallel bead cores(36), one or more radial carcass layers winding on the circumference of the bead core, and a belt layer piled on the outer circumference of the carcass layer and composed of a cord including more than 50% of lyocell fiber, wherein the cord has strength of 15kg~40kg and physical properties of elongation of 2.0~5.0% at 4.5kg of load.
