PURPOSE: A coating unit and a method of manufacturing polymeric strips reinforced with long fibers using the same are provided to enhance the adhesion between fiber and polymeric resin since the polymeric resin uniformly permeates among fibers. CONSTITUTION: A coating unit(30) comprises a body(31), a plurality of first horizontal pin members(35a,35b,35c) and a plurality of vertical pin members(36). The body comprises a hollow, an inlet port(32), an input port(33) and a discharge port(34). The hollow is formed in a longitudinal direction. Melted polymeric resin enters the hollow through the inlet port. A bundle of long fibers(2) enter the hollow through the input port. The first horizontal pin members are horizontally installed at an interval. The vertical pin members are vertically installed on the rear of the first horizontal pin member at an interval. The long fibers successively passes the first horizontal pin members and the vertical pin members, are coated with polymeric resin and are discharged through the discharge port.
