INSULATION 3D CAD MODELING, DRAWING CREATION AND BOM EXTRACTION AUTOMATION SYSTEM IN SHIPBUILDING INDUSTRIES

PURPOSE: A system and a method for automatically generating the 3D CAD modeling, drawing, and material list of in-ship insulation are provided to supply the fixed quantity of materials at the proper time. CONSTITUTION: A database server(1) stores the basic information of a ship including a basic 3D model and insulation material information. A terminal(2) defines a fire-prevention space within a working area in the ship with the application of the basic information. The terminal performs the 3D insulation modeling of the ship with the application of the basic information and the 3D volume of the fire-prevention space. The terminal outputs the information of the ship in the 3D insulation modeling. The terminal produces material information about the generated 3D insulation model.
