PURPOSE: A stone tile and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to manufacture a light base with excellent formability by mixing epoxy resin and hardener with silica. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a tile is as follows. Epoxy resin and hardener are mixed with an antifoaming agent and are vacuum-defoamed. The vacuum-defoamed mixture is spread on a mold for a tile. Silica and natural stones are uniformly spread on the spread surface of the mold and are thermally hardened for 60 to 90 minutes. The mixture of the epoxy resin and the hardener is mixed with silica at the ratio of 5:1, and the surface of the mold is repetitively filled with the mixture to bury a wire mesh in the mold. The mold is compressed with 60~70°C. A compressed molded object is dried for 60 minutes.
