<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear device which exhibits high transmission efficiency reducing a windage loss of the gear device having gears rotating at high speed. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes a gear pair consisting of two gears meshing with each other, a lubricant supply nozzle for lubricating the tooth surfaces of the gear pair, a gear case having a gear pair accommodation part for accommodating the gear pair, an oil tank for storing a lubricant for lubrication, an air flow channel for supplying air to the gear pair accommodation part from the oil tank, an oil mist return flow channel for returning the oil mist generated in the gear case to the oil tank, and a mist collector for separating the lubricant from the oil mist. The air flow channel has a connecting part at the gear pair accommodation part.
