<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator control device and method for improving the security of a building by issuing a warning in the case that an entry-exit time (a residence time) from when a visitor enters into the building till when he exits therefrom is not shorter than an available time to prevent the long-time residence of the visitor. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator control device includes an issuing machine 2 for issuing an authentication means 40 having usage permission information to a visitor, an information reading part 4 for reading the usage permission information of the issued authentication means, a control part 10 for permitting the usage of an elevator in the building in accordance with the usage permission information read by the information reading part, a collecting machine 3 for collecting the authentication means 40 when the visitor exits from the building, and a warning issuing means 23 for issuing a warning in the case that the collecting machine 3 reads a time when the authentication means is issued and finds a time when the residence time of the visitor in the building exceeds an available time which the usage permission information of the authentication means 40 includes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
