PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve positioning precision without cost increase. SOLUTION: A GPS positioning system of a compact terminal has the compact terminal 20 having wireless LAN and a first GPS receiver, and a hot spot 10 which is an access point of the wireless LAN and has a second GPS receiver. The hot spot 10 obtains error information from a first hot spot position 10a obtained by GPS positioning with the second GPS receiver and a previously determined second hot spot position 10b.
