PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a system reset by an operation easily understandable for a user. SOLUTION: A chronograph timepiece includes: a crown RZ; an operation unit for performing a start operation and a reset operation of at least a time measuring motion; a time indicator driver for performing a time measuring motion on the basis of timepiece signals and electrically driving time indicators in such a way as to display measured time; a chronograph indicator driver for performing a time measuring motion on the basis of chronograph signals in response to the start operation, electrically driving chronograph indicators in such a way as to display measured time, and resetting the time measuring motion in response to the reset operation of the operation unit; and a controller for resetting the time indicator driver in response to the reset operation of the crown RZ and resetting the chronograph indicator driver in response to the reset operation of the operation unit.
