The disclosed radiograph processing device reduces the effect of noise and the like and decreases the amount of computation by decreasing spatial resolution a total of two times by means of a low-frequency-image generation unit (41) and a low-frequency-feature generation unit (43). Also, of the feature values extracted through the low-frequency-image generation unit (41) and a feature-extraction unit (42), excess feature values (patterns) that could not be completely eliminated can be reduced by means of decreasing the spatial resolution of the low-frequency-feature generation unit (43). Consequently, with regards to low-frequency features generated by the low-frequency-feature generation unit (43) and illuminated-field regions extracted by a subsequent-stage region-extraction unit (44), it is possible to reduce the effect of noise and the like and to decrease the amount of computation. As a result, it is possible to decrease the amount of computation, and to achieve high-precision feature extraction and region extraction through decreasing the effect of noise and the like. |
