PURPOSE: A reflection and transmission type LCD device is provided to improve a cell gap in a reflection area without increasing a cell gap in a transmission area with a large value, restrict a white brightness deterioration and restrict the black brightness deterioration. CONSTITUTION: A reflective transmission type liquid crystal display device includes as follows. A first substrate. A plurality of gate wire forms to the first direction on an upper part of the first substrate. A plurality of data wire defines a plurality of pixel area including a reflection area(RA) and a transmission area(TA) by exchanging the gate wire and is formed to a second direction on upper first substrate. A thin film transistor is connected to the gate wire and the data wire which is respectively formed in the plurality of pixel area. A first protective layer covers the data wire and the thin film transistor. A reflective plate is formed on the reflective area of the upper part of the first protective layer. A second protective layer is on the upper part of the projective plate. A pixel electrode is connected to the thin film transistor which is formed on the plurality of pixel area of the second protective layer. A third protective layer is formed on the upper part of the pixel electrode. A common electrode includes a second opening unit of the third direction on the reflection area and includes the plurality of opening unit of the first direction to the transmission area which is formed on the upper part of the third protective layer. |
