<p>PURPOSE: An electrically conductive polymer bonded to conductive nanoparticles is provided to enhance conductivity and to enable the production of an electrically conductive layer or film for use in electronic devices. CONSTITUTION: A polymer comprises: a conductive polymer having one or more conductive monomers; and a conductive nanoparticle linked to the polymer. The conductive nanoparticle is linked to the one or more conductive monomers. The one or more conductive monomers includes a 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene.
