BATTERY STORAGE APPARATUS FOR RAILWAY VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A battery storage apparatus for a railway vehicle is provided to discharge hydrogen gas or water quickly and safely without lowering the structural strength of a railway vehicle, and to let a worker approach easily to a battery for a railway vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A battery storage apparatus for a railway vehicle comprises: a battery box provided with an opening opened at one side and installed to the upper part of a side frame(SF) of an under support frame(US) of a railway vehicle; a cover frame(200) coupled with one side of the battery box and fixed to the top of the side frame; a door portion(300) installed to open and close an opening(210) of the cover frame selectively; a mounting portion attached with a battery for a railway vehicle and provided to put in or to draw out the battery box through the opening of the cover frame; a guide portion supporting two ends of the mounting portion and installed to the inside of the battery box; and a drainpipe connected to a drain hole(120) formed in the bottom of the battery box and installed to the lower part via an under frame(UF) of the under support frame of the railway vehicle to drain off water inside the battery box.
