<p>PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to achieve rapid concentrated cooling and discharge cold air toward a predetermined space. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner includes a heat exchanger, a cabinet(100), a discharge unit(131), and a first wind direction control member. The heat exchanger is heat-exchanged with the indoor air to form cool air for cooling of an indoor space. The cabinet contains the heat exchanger. An upper discharge unit is installed in the upper side of the cabinet and ejected/inserted from/into the cabinet. A first outlet is included in the front side of the upper discharge unit. The first wind direction control member controls the direction of the cool air discharged through the first outlet. In a concentrated cooling mode for performing air-cooling a predetermined cooling space to a predetermined cooling temperature, the first wind direction control member controls the cool air discharged through the first outlet to direct the cooling space.</p> |
