PURPOSE: A guard fence is provided to improve safety and to minimize damage to a fence in vehicle collision by absorbing impact using plastic deformation. CONSTITUTION: A guard fence comprises a strut(110), a cable(120) and a shock absorbing part(130). A plurality of struts is vertically installed on the ground. The cable is installed in the strut. The shock absorbing part is located on a cable and absorbs shock energy, delivered through the cable, using plastic deformation.
