PURPOSE: A clamping jig for spot welding is provided to prevent the welding indentation of an electrode tip from remaining on an external plate by performing spot welding through a back tip unit in a state the back tip unit is arranged to face the external plate. CONSTITUTION: A tip plate(31) comprises a plurality of back tips(33), which are installed in a longitudinal direction to face the welded part of a steel sheet. A hinge frame(35) is stood on one side of a jig base. The central part of a hinge bar(37) is hinged to the upper end of the hinge frame and one end of the hinge bar is connected to one side of the tip plate. A back tip cylinder(39) is stood on the jig base adjacent to the hinge frame and is hinged to the other end of the hinge bar through an operating rod.
