PURPOSE: An economical speed section indication in a vehicle speed indicator is provided to heighten drivers' consciousness on an economical speed and to keep an economical speed, to economize in energy and to contribute to green environment by indicating an economical speed section separately in a speed indicator. CONSTITUTION: An economical speed section indication in a vehicle speed indicator has an individual indication for an economical speed section, an uneconomical speed section and an excessively uneconomical speed section for preventing the waste of energy and traffic accidents by classifying an economical speed section, an uneconomical speed section, an excessively uneconomical speed section by indicating an economical speed section, an uneconomical speed section, an excessively uneconomical speed section respectively in the different colors from a base color or indicating an economical speed section, an uneconomical speed section, an excessively uneconomical speed section, etc. in the different colored lines from a base color.
