PURPOSE: A roll grinding method is provided to prevent damage to a roll due to damage to grinding stones by preventing a magnet from moving to the end of the roll. CONSTITUTION: A roll grinding method is as follows. An online roll grinder is arranged to be contiguous to a roll(R) and comprises grinding stones(200) for grinding the worn part of the roll. A controller is connected to the online roll grinder and restricts the moving range of the grinding stones to prevent damage to the grinding stones due to the end of the roll.
