PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve running performance when an electric motor serving as a drive force source for a vehicle is driven as a means substituted for an engine. SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine and an electric motor are provided as a drive force source, and the drive force source is connected to the input side of a transmission. When either of the drive force sources is incapable of being driven, through drive of the other drive force source, running is executed. In a so constituted control device for a vehicle, in case running is effected by driving one drive force source occasioned by incapability of driving the other drive force source, the change gear ratio of the transmission is set (step S9) based on torque capable of outputting one drive force source. |
