<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive charging element for gas/liquid contact which enhances the gas/liquid contact efficiency, and has a high adsorption rate of water-soluble gas to water and high heat exchanger effectiveness of water-air and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The charging element 10 for gas/liquid contact has streamline type chip configuration prepared by the cutting processing of a metallic material and fine cracks 11 on the surface. It is desirable that the charging element for gas/liquid contact 10 has a thickness of 0.1-0.3 mm, a length of 10-100 mm and a width of 1-2 mm. The filler for gas/liquid contact is an aggregate of the charging elements for gas/liquid contact. The manufacturing method of the charging element for gas/liquid comprises cuts the metallic material by a cutting blade with notch (sharpening thickness) of 0.3 mm or less and feeding (migration speed of blade) of 2.0 mm/rev. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
