<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately set a rear wheel straight moving position for a four- wheel steering running vehicle performing phase steering, two-wheel steering and antiphase steering operation during steering change. SOLUTION: In a four-wheel running vehicle for performing two-wheel steering, antiphase steering and phase steering operation, a changing mechanism 22 is linked to a front steering mechanism 20 and a rear steering mechanism 21 for changing operation between a two-wheel steering condition and a four- wheel steering condition and a rack position detecting sensor 11 is provided in the changing mechanism 22 for detecting a steering changed condition. The steering angle of rear wheels 8 is operated and controlled to be neutral so that the rear wheels 8 can be moved straight, and then a detection signal from the rack position detecting sensor 11 in the neutral condition is stored as a detection signal at a rear wheel straight moving position in a memory 56 mounted in a control circuit 47 so that the rear wheel straight moving position can be determined by the control circuit 47.</p> |
