PURPOSE: A method for processing multimedia data is provided to improve system performance by offering a media framework which minimizes the procedures thereof. CONSTITUTION: Component information needed for configuring a media graph and connection information for the same are received from a media application(S4). The media graph is constituted by the received content, and a rendering command is queued. The component information and the connection information are directly delivered. The component information and the connection information are transformed into preset file information.
