PURPOSE: A method for controlling the driving of an LED in a flat panel display and a broadcast receiver are provided to reduce manufacturing costs by simplifying a circuit configuration. CONSTITUTION: A DC power supply unit(210) supplies a DC output voltage. A DC/DC converter(220) applies a voltage to LED strings based on the DC output voltage. An LED array arranging unit(230) is composed of one or more LED strings composed a plurality of LEDs. A control unit calculates a feedback voltage based on each output voltage and feeds back the feedback voltage to the DC/DC converter.
