PURPOSE: A magnetrohelogical fluid damper control method is provided to absorb an external impact quickly and stably, and to reduce the falling time needed until an external impact is absorbed and stabilized. CONSTITUTION: A magnetrohelogical fluid damper control method comprises the steps of: if an external impact is detected, cutting off the power supply to an electromagnet for forming a magnetic field and vanishing a magnetic field formed at the initial state, thereby increasing the viscosity of magnetrohelogical fluids and absorbing the external impact(S10~S30); and supplying power to the electromagnet in a proportional-plus-integral-plus-derivative control method, thereby stabilizing the output of the magnetrohelogical fluid damper(S40,S50).
