The system may include a rotatable drum for receiving items to be deodorized, a steam generator for supplying steam to the drum, and a passage for generating a forcible flow through the drum. The method may include adsorbing steam generated by the steam generator by the items to be deodorized, and exhausting the adsorbed steam using the forcible flow through the drum.
