PURPOSE: A fuel reformer for autothermal reforming is provided to improve the lifetime by preventing the catalytic deactivation by the heat and to enhance hydrogen production by preventing the degradation of activation. CONSTITUTION: A fuel reformer for autothermal reforming comprises the steps of: (S1) dispersing and supplying oxygen provided through an oxygen supply tank control valve to an activation catalyst layer of a reactor through a plurality of oxygen tubes installed in a longitudinal direction of a reactor; (S2) measuring the temperature distribution in the longitudinal direction of the reactor by photographing the reactor with thermal IR; (S3) the temperature of the reactor by locations and comparing with a predetermined temperature; and (S4) transmitting feedback control signals to the oxygen supply tank control valve and controlling the oxygen input amount supplied to the reactor. |
