<p>A method of inhibiting (e.g. discarding a read a touch detection) or delaying (postponing the reading of a touch sensor electrode) touch sensing on a display screen (in particular electrophoretic or electro wetting displays but also LCD) combined with projective capacitor touch sensing in response to either identifying when column drive levels of waveforms of the pixels of one selected row change by more than a threshold level between one selected row in the next selected row or in dependence on a validity signal dependent on image data, the validity signal indicating that at least one change of a column drive signal between row address times within a frame address time. Touch sensing may be less affected by noise caused by edges of displayed drive transitions. The inhibition of a response to a touch detected may be achieved by discarding and repeating a touch sensor output read.</p> |
