AUTOMATIC SYSTEM FOR MEASURING CHARACTER OF FISHES AND METHOD IN USING SAME

PURPOSE: A system and a method for automatically measuring the trait of fishes are provided to increase the accuracy of data by forming database based on the obtained image information and measured data related to the fishes. CONSTITUTION: A conveyor image taking part(100) takes images with respect to the front side and the lateral side of fishes on a conveyor and transfers the images. A conveyor weighing part(200) weights the fishes on the conveyor and transfers the weights of the fishes. A trait measuring part(300) measures the trait of the fishes based on the front and the lateral images of the fishes and measures the fatness of the fishes based on the weights of the fishes. The information related to the image, the trait, the weight, and the fatness of the fishes are stored and managed.
