PURPOSE: An object trace method and apparatus thereof are provided to efficiently trace the movement of a desired object by using an object trace mode. CONSTITUTION: An object trace mode is set up. The color and type of object is set up for an object to be traced. The object is detected. It is determined whether the detected object is suitable for the object trace mode(S120). The object is automatically traced(S130).
