PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to increase aperture ratio and to improve luminance of an image by preventing the generation of leakage current. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal layer is formed between a first substrate and a second substrate. A plurality of gate lines(21) and data line(22) is formed on the first substrate. A first black matrix(27) is formed in the first substrate. A pixel electrode(23) is formed on the first substrate in a pixel region. |
